Warehouse Assistant
About the Role
DNL is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations at our Ikotun cold storage facility. You will work closely with the logistics team to keep incoming and outgoing stock organised and cold-chain integrity intact from arrival to dispatch.
This is an entry-to-mid level role suited to someone reliable, physically active, and comfortable working in a cold storage environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and store incoming shipments in the correct cold storage sections
- Carry out regular stock counts and report discrepancies
- Prepare and package outgoing orders for dispatch
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse floor
- Follow all cold-chain and safety handling procedures
Requirements
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage but not required
- Comfortable working in a cold storage environment
- Physically fit and able to lift and move stock
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Basic literacy for stock record keeping
