About the Role
DNL is looking for a meticulous Quality Control Officer to inspect incoming and outgoing seafood shipments. You will be responsible for making sure every batch that enters or leaves our facility meets our Grade A quality standard.
This role suits someone detail-oriented with an interest in food safety and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality, packaging integrity, and temperature compliance
- Reject or flag substandard stock according to company standards
- Maintain quality control records and inspection logs
- Support compliance with NAFDAC and relevant food safety regulations
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure proper cold-chain handling
Requirements
- Background in food science, quality assurance, or a related field is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a cold storage environment
- Understanding of basic food safety principles
